The half-saree (pattu pavadai and dhavani) is one of the most beautiful traditions in Tamil Nadu. Many families celebrate it with a function, and more and more parents now plan a separate half-saree photoshoot so their daughter gets relaxed, magazine-style portraits to keep forever. Start in a garden
Gardens and stone steps give space for full-length frames that show the whole half-saree and its colours.

Seated poses help young girls relax in front of the camera. We guide every pose gently so the expressions stay natural.

Planning tips for parents
Book the shoot in the morning or late afternoon for soft light, plan the outfits and jewellery in advance, and keep the session relaxed with breaks. We are happy to cover the half-saree function itself as well as a separate portrait session.
